Welcome to a home of the literary magnate, Ogai Mori.
This area has a close relationship with the great writer Ogai Mori. On this site, the old house of Ogai remains. This house contains the room in which he wrote his maiden work, “Maihime.” You can use the room, which still has the scent of literature, for parties.
Ogai married Toshiko Akamatsu, a daughter of Vice Admiral Noriyoshi Akamatsu, through the good offices of Mr. Amane Nishi in March 1889. He moved to the Akamatsu house from Negishi.
